Handmade in Mexico. Made to Be Loved Everywhere.
Every product at Casa Maria begins with an artisan — their hands, their heritage, and the centuries-old traditions of their region. We work directly with craftspeople across three of Mexico's most celebrated artisan states: Puebla, Oaxaca, and Guanajuato, bringing their work to homes around the world.
Our collection spans some of Mexico's most iconic craft traditions. Authentic Talavera lamps and tiles, hand-painted by licensed artisans in Puebla using techniques that date back over 400 years. Hand-carved Oaxacan Alebrijes — fantastical folk art creatures brought to life in vivid colour by carvers and painters working in small family batches. Handwoven wool table runners, made to order on traditional looms in 2–3 weeks. And ceramic pendant lamps and vases, shaped and painted by hand in Guanajuato from a refined blend of clay, silica, kaolin, and feldspar.
What unites every piece in our collection is a commitment to authenticity. We do not work with mass-produced imitations. Every item is genuinely handmade, ethically sourced, and purchased directly from the artisans who create them — ensuring fair trade, the continuation of traditional skills, and a product that carries real meaning.
Because each piece is made by hand, no two are ever identical. Subtle variations in colour, pattern, and finish are not imperfections — they are the mark of the human hand behind every piece, and what makes each one truly unique.
Whether you are looking for a statement lamp to anchor a room, a set of decorative tiles for a kitchen splashback, a handwoven runner to dress a dining table, or a one-of-a-kind alebrije to bring personality to a shelf — you will find it here.
Handmade. Ethical. Authentic. Crafted in Mexico — created to be loved everywhere.
