Talavera Lamps
Is this real Talavera? Or just Talavera style?
Every lamp in this collection is handmade in Puebla, Mexico, by Uriarte, one of only nine officially licensed Talavera workshops in the world.
How long until my lamp ships?
Each piece is completed upon order. Please 6-8 weeks to complete production before dispatch.
Will the colours and pattern match the photo exactly?
Each lamp is hand-painted, so minor variations in colour and pattern are normal — that's part of what makes it genuinely handmade, not a flaw.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a damp cloth only. Avoid abrasive cleaners, dishwashers, and microwaves, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the glaze.
Do you ship to the UK, US, and Europe?
Yes, worldwide. UK & Europe and USA & Canada typically take 14 working days after dispatch; rest of world 14-21 working days after dispatch.

What's the difference between these and the Talavera lamps?
These are handcrafted in Guanajuato using traditional clay techniques rather than Talavera's tin-glaze process — a different regional craft tradition, equally artisan-made.
How long until it ships?
3-5 working days.
How do I care for it?
Wipe clean with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged direct sunlight.
Can I return it if it's not right for my space?
Yes — returns are accepted within 28 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging. Bespoke or personalised pieces are excluded.

What are they made from?
100% Mexican wool.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent. Don't tumble dry — lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Dry cleaning is recommended for best results.
How long until it ships?
Made to order — please allow 2–3 weeks for production before dispatch.
Will the colours match the photo?
Small variations are normal with handweaving — that's part of the authenticity, not a defect.

Where are these made?
With Uriarte in Puebla, Mexico — the same maker certified for authentic Talavera production.
Are these waterproof?
Yes, these are waterproof. they can be used in sink & wash basins, showers and wet rooms. As well as for stair risers or floor and wall decoration.
